A. Training
Our standard procedures require that we undertake training and refresher training of all operations staff on a regular basis. This ensures that all staff are competent in understanding and operating in all areas of the warehouse operation to deliver a high level of service to the customer.

All training modules are designed to measure their ability in each area of the operation. When the training programme is completed the level of competence is recorded on the individual’s training record.

Quality is maintained and controlled by warehouse management.

B. Housekeeping, Pest Control & Maintenance
A strict cleaning procedure is followed to ensure all areas are free from contaminates.
Biological prevention measures are in place and these are checked and maintained by an approved pest control contractor on a regular basis.

C. Storage & Handling
The high specification of the building combined with our attention to quality reduces the risk of product damage. The property is of food grade standard and each loading door is fitted with dust seals. The whole is monitored by CCTV.

The Warehouse and Control System incorporates “best before dates” by which items can be called off on a ‘FIFO’ basis, eliminating excessively long storage periods & stock deterioration.

Our quality procedures for receipt & despatch ensure stringent checks are carried out on each load to ensure 100% accuracy in quantity and quality. All equipment is fully maintained and electric trucks only are allowed within the storage and handling areas.

D. Food Operation
In line with the high specification of the building we operate quality procedures far in excess of regulatory demands and Standards.
